Create a chat module with optional chatbot

Adding modules (or widgets) to your website is what connects your customers to IOdesk. For an explanation on how to install this module after creating it, see module installation.

Creating a chat module

In IOdesk, navigate to Modules -> Create and manage. Click on the Create new module button

This will bring up a selection of available modules, click on Get started for the chat module you want, e.g. Support module with live chat.

This will start a guide that will take you through the creation of the chat module step-by-step. So that you can configure it to look and behave just the way you want.

Business hours

Also remember to set your business hours, as these will have an impact on the chat module (if you are online to answer questions or not)
